Sounds crazy to me. They have a one time charge of 99.00 to hook up internet! Whats up with that?

No, it's not.

Maybe it's someone representing DirecTV but a quick view of the last few pages of this thread will show you many folks are getting a lot lower price from DirecTV for a HR34.

Or just get it from Solid Signal for $349, as VOS suggests. No strings attached, outside of a new 2 year commitment.

DTV just charged me $299 for an HR34. They wanted to charge $50 for the install, but I talked them out of that. Actually, I talked them into a credit against the install fee.

if you dont have a swm system there could be charge for installing that also
