Right now here's what I got:

Basic Choice $14.99
International $14.99
HD $10
DVR $8
Showtime 6 months free
Starz 6 months free
HD Extra Pack 3 months free

Less:
$10 off package
$8 off DVR

Subtotal: $30.00 per month

Referral $10 off
2nd refer $10 off

Final total: $10 per month

If I add my 2nd owned box (HR21P), then it goes up $6 or $9 (with whole home).

I also have a $300 credit balance on my account from equipment/retention,
should last me for almost a year of free service after the referrals end.

FYI, I only watch the local channels since I don't get antenna reception.

Anyone paying similar or better? I can't believe that some people pay $150 to $300 for TV service.

I doubt the ride will last forever. At some point, many of the freebies and discounts will end and D* won't want to give you any more.

My bill is >$150 per month even with a few discounts. But I mainly watch movies and sports.

What is the "Basic Choice" Plan? Lowest I can find is the Family Pack, but if I could just get locals I would be HAPPY!

HD: $10
DVR: $8
