C31 locked up every time I want to use it.

I have a new C31 in a gameroom and I only use it about once a week. Almost every time I try to turn it on it won't power on. I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Does this sound like a bad unit or do I just need to wait for newer firmware? Does the firmware go to the HR34 or the C31? I'm concerned that the C31 is always hung so it may not get an update.

Turn off UPnP on your router if you have it.
When your 31 does not turn on, push the red button on the side of the box instead of plugging and unplugging it.

It sure isn't a known issue with mine.
My C31 is still locked up every few weeks. I don't have uPNP on. Pressing the red button resets it. Does this sound like a known issue, or should I try new hardware?
What version of firmware do you have?
Look under the system info screen on both the client & the Genie, as they both affect how it works.

Since it shouldn't do this, I'd call and get them to send a replacement.
No power light and will not respond to power button or remote.

There's a chance 067e for the Genie will help this, and it's slowly being pushed out.
It just locked up again, but I also had to reset the HR34 since double play wouldn't turn on. The power light was on. No torrents here. I'll call DTV and get a new one. I just hate to hassle with that if it's a firmware problem and not hardware.
