The Latin TPN Map has been updated with data of 1/27/2015.  For the very first time, we have active DLA1 channels showing in Net 3, Sur. Nothing live is showing in Net 4, Norte so far.   I would have expected to see MPEG4 channels as the first to go active, but it is this handful of MPEG2 channels that are the first pure contribution from DLA1.

There is much testing activity, as evidenced in the Hybrid tab

Yeah, wow Gary;

Things really the opposite of what's expected here. Thought for sure the current MPEG-4 HD channels from the former Beam Oeste and Sur along with future new HD or MPEG-4 SD additions were destined for the new 36 MHz regional xpndrs of DLA1 comprising the new Sur and Norte. While the old MPEG-2 SD ones from there or any new ones were going to the 24 MHz Pan-Regional 1&2 xpndrs of DLA1.

Instead, so far we have the MPEG-4 HD channels on the narrower band Pan-Regional xpndrs similar to the old arrangement on G3C, and these MPEG-2 SD channels appearing on the new wider band regional xpndrs.

The wierdities continue from DIRECTV LA....

They have own plans for load-balancing IS-30/31 and G3C; I'm sure all of them financially advancing. ;)

We are sitting on a couch and speculating by seen small things in a sky :)
