Doctor J Comments for the new 7/16/14 Domestic Data:

No changes of significance since last week's report...

Hey Gary;

Briefly, do you have the new TPN location and data for the HOPE religious channel on 368?

I know its an MPEG-4 SD channel somewhere on D12.

Even though the transition was also set on 7/16 like the latest map release date, I guess Dr. J's data for the map somehow missed it since its still showing as MPEG-2 SD on 119.

Briefly, do you have the new TPN location and data for the HOPE religious channel on 386?

The HOPE channel is 368 (not 386).

In yesterday's TPN Map, that channel is on D12, TPN 11.  See line 131 of the CONUS sheet.

The old channel is shown on line 447, with the 'moving' message.

The new channel is MPEG4 compression, but the program content may still be low resolution SD.

Got it, sorry thanks;

Brain-lock, had the filter set to display only 119 entries. :)

Hi guys. Do we have something new in the Panamericana TPN Map?

Thanks

We posted a fresh LatinAm TPN Map on 7/12.  At that time there were no appreciable changes since the previous Latin TPN Map of 5/25/14.

Are you suggesting that there is something new since the 7/12/14 data was posted?

Could be some more test channels and the Uruguayans Off Air channels addition to OTA db.

If someone could make a new Latam TPN scan it would be nice.

A quick scan of the LatinAm data is being done daily. No changes have been seen so far. If any changes of consequence occur, we will be able to post a new TPN Map to let you know.
