DVR vs MRV Replacement

DIRECTV has recently taken the extraordinary step of updating the ELA to instruct you call DIRECTV at 1-800-531-5000 for more information regarding failure of leased equipment.

If I should have DirecTV install a Genie DirecTV advanced receiver to replace one of my installed 7 HD DVR's, I am wondering if in the future one of the DVR's needs to be replaced, will it be replaced with another DVR or will it be replaced with an MRV client?
As a DIRECTV customer, which the prior responder isn't, I've had a Genie installed for awhile as a tester and during that time I needs to get to HR24's replaced. Both times DIRECTV sent another HR24 and not a client and I haven't seen or heard anything saying that HR2X's replacements would be a C31.
