Ugh! @#$%^&! song of the flower children lefties!

FAITH: I find the lack of it disturbing.

Opinions are my own but should be those of all Americans, who would be much better off intellectually, psychologically, and emotionally if that were the case.

Now they need an H3 HD with actual historical programming being History and H2 are completely filled with reality programming and supernatural nonsense. ;)

Just a little related testimonial. . . I got off the phone with D* a few mins ago, after having accepted a new two year extension (our contract would have run out in a few months) related to some equipment upgrades. . . and my willingness to do both the upgrades and the contract extension were absolutely directly correlated to the happy news we've had in this (family of) threads the last several months.
LR(non-CE): HR44, Mits 65C9; Office/FR (CE): HR22-100 + AM21, Mits 60737 + Mits 3DA1 3D adapter. Spare bedroom (non-CE), HR23. Genie WHDVR, wireless networking (yay!)

Neither do I but D* will give me a credit for signing someone up for service. While not a new activation TheRatPatrol extended his contract directly from the news Sixto and SR provided. Ought to be worth something:D

With the new additions coming, does it take the sting out of the upcoming price hikes for anyone? A teensie bit of the sting is gone for me...

Discussions about cost should be in the 2013 DIRECTV Price Increases thread. :)

Since it costs 2.4¢ to produce a penny, my 2¢ worth is really 4.8¢ worth.  That 4.8¢ is my own and not the 4.8¢ of DIRECTV, Dish, or anyone else for that matter.

I looked at Alan's list again. For me, we are truly scraping the bottom of the barrel. My new list of channels I'd like (though very grateful for what we're being given):

Full time HD FSN Cincinnati
NASA
Military Channel
Military History added with HD

Oh, I still have a few more channels I'd like in HD.

FMC, SUND, NASA, CSPAN1, CSPAN2. Eight is a pretty big haul tho. . .it wouldn't surprise me if they blew the whole 1Q budget on that, assuming our speculation about back-end upgrade pace is in the ballpark.
