Is anyone else that subscribes to Starz/Encore Package seeing this line item under Recent Activity? I didn't add/remove anything nor did I make any changes.

Perhaps it has something to do with the preparation/authorization for Encore Action HD?

I'm a Premier sub. It's not on my current billing statement.

I agree too. I love the anticipation often better than the channels but it is all fun. They get here when they get here.

Only now because all but about 13 hours or so of programming I now get in HD that I watch. BBCA was a very good add for me but at the same time, I watched doctor who in HD by other means.

I'm just very satisfied for some time now. So the game of what is coming next is more fun for me.

It's difficult to parse your post, but I guess you're not too enthused with the new additions?

Perhaps you'd be happier with DISH. With the upcoming 8 new HD channels I'd say DirecTV is having a good year already and it's only January.

Agreed. I was a Dish customer (briefly) many years ago and I would never go back. Customer service was terrible to say the least. Directv may have been behind as far as basic HD is concerned, but last year and so far this year, their additions have been great. Also, remember SR mentioned that more HD will follow after these 8 additions.

It's nothing, rather an authorization code to prepare for the Encore HD creation.

No but the beginning of the period that is known as Aquarius is a known fact. Correct, though I never said beginning, middle, or end, simply posted the Aquarius sign. :)

Lets ask a different question.... How many channels will launch next week? Revealing that can't really hurt anything, right? Depends on testing, how things shake out. If all goes well, there will be multiple channels that launch by this Friday, but not all of them. Others, if all goes well, would follow very soon after.

PM with more info is of course ok ;)

This is cool..to actually know whats coming is very cool..rather then decoder ringing certain messages.. Personally, when and whatever debuts 1st I dont care about...just to know the bracket of channels that are coming is indeed :) very nice..nice to know there is a boatload coming rather than just inane innuendo..

In all fairness, the "inane innuendo" is always before channels are in test so it is more advanced knowledge and is, therefore, less public.

SR can admit to these because they are in test. Yet, he is still putting on caveats.

glad with the boatload of whatever came out (yet another channel announcement not put forth by him mind you, this one came from sixto's report)..those shenanigans of word association didn't happen.

It's not as much fun. Of course, I've been one of those people who put forth some hints when I've had info I wasn't supposed to publicize.

Would you rather when some of us know something but can't say anything outright we say nothing?

(Oh. And Sixto did play a little game before listing the channels. Kind if like Wheel of Fortune.)

Too bad DirecTV's not adding a fish tank channel.

Then we'd be in the age of aquariums.

Sometimes I miss that channel. It was relaxing and a good demo channel back in the day that one did not have a hundred plus other channels to look at.

Wasn't a yes or no question.

Officially or technically? The "Yes" answer may be the most accurate.
