SD content with HD bandwidth is certainly a joy. Great improvement.
DirecTV: Genie, H25, CCK, GenioGo, SWiM-16 & SWiM-8, DECA to Gigabit Switch with FiOS (75/35)
FiOS: Roamio Pro's (2), Roamio Plus, Mini's (4) with Ultimate HD (My Roamio Thoughts)

I'm very glad to have Discovery ID.
If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

According to IMDB, Murder, She Wrote was done to film and not tape, so it has good potential.

Yep, agree, didn't mean to downplay the HD content, just wanted to also recognize that SD content is also much better.

Yet you ignore the realities of the situation. Anyway...

That's your opinion...nothing more, nothing less. We should really be commenting on the posts and not the posters anyway. This tangent has run it's course.

Anyway, back to the subject of channels, DirecTV should really take GolTV HD out of their listing of channels they carry in HD. As anyone who sat thru Business 101 would know....that's false advertising!

I was talking about your opinion that I ignored realities or something...but of course, you knew that.

I do not agree with that opinion, but I'm done bickering with you.

I wish they'd roll out channels on Saturdays so I wouldn't have to sit at work being envious of those watching the new HD channels. ;)

Indeed. TVLand looks much better on a 60" TV, and they do have some real HD content as well at times.

Interesting that that site says "confirmed" and excepts Encore from that confirmed list. No one here has conjectured on Encore. So the info has a bit more than what has been open here.

Is there a reason the DirecTV box deletes channels from favorites, but doesn't replace them with the HD version? They are the same number.

Everytime DirecTV changes a channel to HD I have to add them back to my favorites.
