I recorded MI3 off Epix and DL'd it from the Epix VOD section. For quite a while I have seen that PQ is far better off VOD. That is why I thought I'd check and see if it was available, although VOD is basically a joke (a whole other story), it was so I did.

So, since the recorded version is right there in "My Recordings" it was in my face and I started to watch before remembering that I had DL'd it. Well since I had been watching it I saw that the PQ was OK and I had 5.1 audio as per the intro slate before the movie started and the output indicators on the receiver. I stopped that and went to the DL's version and although the PQ was far better, the audio was only stereo/2 channel. WTF? Shouldn't the VOD version be equal to, if not better than?
