I want HBO on Roku though.

According to their web site, HBO-Go is listed as on the Roku.

Don't need it with DirecTV's HBO VOD.

Are you saying you don't get it because you are a DirecTV subscriber? I have DirecTV and HBO and get HBO-GO on my Revue and my XBox 360.
