Priceless

Just a general observation: why is there a direct correlation between the inability to construct grammatically correct sentences and the over use of emoticons?

Portions of this thread read like below average work in an ESL class.

Otherwise, I am a Premiere customer and I have no problem with people recording the living heck out of free preview weekends. Why should I care?

Wow, and it took you over 4 days for this earth shattering post. :hurah:

By the way I made over $275,000 last year and have a GED, so you can keep your English/Grammer lesson to yourself.

Boy, pulling in that kind of coin you'd think you'd be paying for the top of the line package, no?

But congratulations for being a pretend rich person. It really makes your arguments that much more compelling!

I record the hell out of these free weekends. Hell, I still have stuff on the DVR from the August preview.

So do I! And in perusing the guide for the 11th-13th free preview I noticed that many of the shows/movies I recorded during previous "previews" are still being run!! I think the day of the "premium" channel is coming to an end now that there are so many other ways to get the same content.

Sadly, I think most of the movies I am going to schedule to record are on FLIX and ENCORE which show "classic" movies!! Somehow, this current crap just doesn't appeal to me. Of course, I am going to record the new "Three Stooges" movie!

Grammar, not grammer. Are you sure your GED isn't a free preview?

Trying to record Happy Feet Two and I keep getting "your receiver isn't authorized to record this program". This is on chan 501 but I am able to record Hanna on 504.

Hrm, that is odd. Have tried resending your authorizations? You can do it online at the website under the My Equipment section.

Again if you are going on a 72 hour free recording binge, Why would you ever subscribe?

Because the subscription gives you access all year long, every day for new movies that come out during the year and also allows you to stay up to date/current on the original series? I'm not sure why there would be a percieved lack of benefit to subscribing vs being able to record items during a 1-3 day preview and still have access to them?

Showtime used to be pretty sparse on good stuff to watch. Penn & Teller (yes i know that's gone now. :( ) Shameless, Californication, The Borgias, Dexter are awesome shows. The movie side of things is still hit or miss for me when compared to the others but eh. The series are what keeps me subscribing.

Showtime was great in the 80's with Bizzzare and movies. Now it stinks.

Enjoying AT 250 HBO,
