Really annoying audio drops during the Alabama vs. Notre Dame game tonight. Anyone else having this? Just had a HR34-700 installed today although I have experienced them before while on my HR24-500. Denon AVR-1611 receiver with HDMI connections.

I'm getting them on ESPN HD, but not on ESPN 3D.

Yup, me too. ESPN is the most problematic channel I watch for audio dropouts.

The BCS game last night did "feel" like it was a little better (fewer) than most programming on ESPN for audio glitches.

Watched the game on Comcast -- no noticeable audio drops.

A lot of sports audio dropouts are intentional, to filter naughty stuff from hitting the airwaves. Instead of a 'beep' they just drop audio.

I don't know if that is what happened in this game as I only watched about 10 minutes of it, but ESPN utilizes the mute button (via delay) more than most networks.
