Is the HDMI signal from the Hooper encoded?

Can I play the Hooper via HDMI cable to a display monitor that is not DHCP compliant?

If so is there a third party solution?

a) yes, by using mandatory HDCP
B) no, if there is a flag has been set by content provider/dish
c) yes, search Internet for such splitters/switches
