After the banner raising, I shifted to the Winnipeg/Ottawa pre-game. So I didn't see what was happening on my local NBC station. But according to the Philly papers, NBC shifted to the Flyers game at 3:36 and the puck dropped at 3:39. Is that not what happened?

I had heard that on XM that NBC was carrying the pre-game in LA because of the SC banner ceremony and then would shift (for those of us getting the Flyers/Pens game).

The point is we shouldn't be stuck watching a crap stream on NBC's website when they decide to have regional coverage. The games should be on CI.

But this is the NHL we're talking about. A league whose own network has such poor coverage of live games that most fans wish they wouldn't show any.

I loved it when the out of market regional games were on CI. But it looks like we're going to have even more games not available this year with the NHL Network getting more exclusive time slots (at least they supposed to get more before the lockout).
