There's a new THX iPad app out and it's currently free but that changes on 2/4.

I haven't tried it out yet but I do have an AppleTV so I can use the Airplay feature to calibrate my system.

BTW, you don't need a THX system to utilize this. Just a display and speakers.

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

I just downloaded it only into iTunes for now. Figured as long as I have it now I'll be able to get updates in the future (and I won't have to pay for it when it becomes a paid app).

Note: It's a BIG app (over 50MB) and requires a WiFI connection to download.

I put it on an Ipad Mini last night and piddled around a little---it does look interesting. ron
