switched back to directv on 12/30 and I've had to re-set twice. I have the Genie and two Clients. I have had issues twice with no picture on my tv's with the clients and on my tv with the Genie when I went to rewind to catch something I missed the damn think just forwarded by itself and when I got it to stop rewinding I had no volume so I did a re-set. Yes it fixed it, but 2 in little more than a month? I had Dish for just over 2 years prior to this, but they wouldn't give me a good deal to upgrade to the hopper so I jumped. I maybe had to re-set once or twice in 2 years with Dish and their DVR. I have had Satellite tv since 1996. I don't remember having to re-set so often. Is this common? I like the picture quality better than Dish, but I will say it is a bit darker and I had to set my brightness controls on my tv's to adjust for it. I also like the guide and interface look of Directv better and with Sunday Ticket at $199 I'm looking at getting it again for the first time in a decade or so.
