Directv just upgraded my system to the new HR-34 Genie receiver. I now have a sound delay of a few seconds when tuning into a program. I did not have this issue with my HR-22. I have a Sony LCD, Onkyo Receiver, HR-34. What is the best connection setup to eliminate the delay issue?

HDMI cable going from your HR-34 into your Onkyo receiver. HDMI cable going from your Onkyo receiver into your Sony LCD.

DirecTV customer since 1995.
