There is 'new' hopper2, XiP913 with two tuners and home security camera :eek2: And other [cheap ?] new DVR: Zapper2 using not BCM but STM chip: STi7105.

Since this is in the XiP series we'll keep the discussion in the Hopper forum ... thread moved.

I'm not sure if the model is belong to XiP line .... If looking at the "L" letter, then it should be in other forum ...
perhaps some insiders could reveal it - since it got production FW; strange, but dish keep silence about it

It certainly does not belong in the General forum ... if the model is identified better the thread can be moved to a more appropriate receiver forum.

It is odd to ask for software experience for an unknown receiver that could be vaporware. Have you seen anything at the FCC that would support this receiver existing?

The company (as we aware) has limited resources in SW dept - I wouldn't imagine they spent a lot of time for writing many beta SW for the model, and the release version SW is clear sign: the DVR is exist. I would check FCC, but we knew a model name often changing a few times (remember ViP722s->ViP822->XiP813 device ?). Would be nice to have its FCC ID before research.

Security camera? What!? Lol. Commercial-oriented receiver? Very interesting!
