Her eyes are beautiful, but the outfit D* made her wear isn't flattering at all (and she's not wearing a genie outfit -- what IS that exactly?).

Kaley Cuoco played a genie in a Super Bowl car ad, and she wasn't wearing a "traditional"-style genie outfit, either.

I suspect the answer is that the ad agencies, given a mandate to appeal to as many viewers as possible with these commercials, have determined that a traditional genie outfit doesn't quite do that (i.e., it shows a lot of skin and brings to mind a man-master/woman-slave relationship, which, although it's certainly a fantasy for many men, is probably a turnoff for many women).

Don't forget: The novelty wears off after a bit. Then there's the feeding.... $140 restaurant bills, $4000 jewelry, trips to Paris, so, we're better off with the 5 tuner model....;)

I wonder if you can haggle with retention for a newer model after your 2 year commitment?

The chances are about the same - almost nil.

Whats truly amazing about this is i was able to pause it and start it again unlike the Genie. I make fun, yet come on DTV get things on track.
