I'm finally Hopping (II) with two Joeys and so far really liking it (from a 722k and a 508, and BTW have a Sling adapter and OTA to sell). Great install by Eric here near Phoenix.

And thanks to Ray on the DIRT team and all his help in figuring this out, as well as all the earlier pioneers on this forum.

So my first real question that I haven't solved myself:

My wife and I like the CBS Morning News and between the bedroom, family room and treadmill room want to have it do an AutoTune from the beginning. But, we want to be able to pause independently and not mess up each other's viewing. Thus, the need for different tuners to be used.

But if I set it up (using the OTA, BTW), and then try to do that from a 2nd TV (and I know it's the same thing in a way, it doesn't matter which TV/Joey that I'm standing in front of), the system only brings up the already scheduled timer.

I got around it this morning by turning on the "other" TV's at different times before the 7AM start, and that did work.

But can I make this happen automatically by specifying multiple tuners for the event?

Thanks.

Don't think there is a way to set up multiple timers for the exact same event in the guide. You could try getting around it by doing manual auto-tune timers... set one for 7:00am, one for 6:59am and another for 6:58am

Good idea. I'll try that for tomorrow morning unless someone else pops up with another way.
