As the title says I have a 1000.2 dish and a Pro Plus Triple LNB 1000.2 capable of picking up the 110 119 & 129 SATS. I also have a VIP211K receiver. The LNB has four connections labeled 1, 2, 3, & input.

Will this dish/receiver combo work together?

Can I hook the cable from the input on the receiver directly to port #1 on the LNB or do I need another piece of hardware in between?

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of about pointing this dish?

My locals are from Pittsburgh, PA and are located on the 129W satellite for HD and the 110W satellite for non HD.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the info.

I'm sure that this is a dumb question but are the settings the same for a 1000.2 & 1000.4 for pointing at the 110 119 & 129 SATS?

Also, do I look for the 119 SAT to lock in first and then adjust?

set tilt by dishpointer, close 110/129 by aluminum foil, get the 119, then open 110/129 and check these, then go with fine aiming

Thanks. Tested it yesterday and it worked flawlessly. Up & running in 10 minutes or so. :D
