This whole situation sucks, the best season the Bucs have had in over 20 years and I am being punished just for living in zip code 25425.  I have Extra Innings and Root Sports Pittsburgh and the Bucs are blacked out on each.  Directv has lost a customer for life because I know that they are not blacked out on Dish Network.  As soon as my 2 year contract ends in May, 2014 I am switching to Dish so I can actually watch the Pirates.  Directv can kiss it!

Let’s just hope that the MLB Blackout Lawsuit that is pending the court helps the fans for once and strikes down all blackouts. The Blackout Zones that are currently in place were created back in the 1950’s and 1960’s when tv’s used Rabbit Ears & there was no such thing as Cable or Satellite Television in every home. The Boundaries created alot of them were for that time period i read somewhere. Now a days nobody uses Rabbit Ears anymore on their television sets. Next year some blackouts are going away entirely anyway specifically FOX Saturday Games will be allowed on Extra Innings.

I still use "rabbit ears" on my set for locals. Works fine. Why would I pay extra for something I can get for free? My Mama didn't raise no fool.....
