Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but what is the point of this message? If someone is blacked out, they will not be able to see the crawl about Dish's game finder...

If the game is blacked out you should still see the channel only with a slate stating the game is blacked out, the crawl could added to the feed after the blackout and should still be seen.

I haven't paid much attention to it, but I think it can be done as such.

I wish they wouldn't run it constantly. It's VERY annoying. Once every 30 minutes is enough. Hope somebody from the DIRT team or Dish can get that issue addressed.

Wow, this is incredibly obnoxious. I'm well aware that blackout restrictions apply, but when I'm watching the actual game, I don't need to be CONSTANTLY reminded. :nono2:

Its probably a crawl that is being shown to all viewers of that channel trying to let them know how to find their game if their game is blacked out.

Apparently it isn't easy to get the message through to some MLB viewers. Something about only seeing what they want to see and ignoring the rest as if it didn't exist.

I am pretty sure I have seen the same message on the NFL Network too. I am still not convinced someone who is blacked out will actually see the crawl.

When I went to ESPN last night, I didn't get a crawl about the Braves/Phillies game, I just got the standard not available in your area message. I knew the game was on my local RSN.
