I have 2 DVR's and 1 receiver in my MRV setup, models are in my signature below.

I have noticed that all functions of controlling the remote DVR work almost 10 times faster on the second DVR than they do on the receiver.

Has anyone else noticed this behavior in your setup? Is there a cure for it other than replacing the receiver with another DVR?

I have been considering that replacement anyway but can't do it at this time.

We have 5 DVRs (2 HR21s, 2 HR24s and a HR34) and 2 h25s and do to see what you describe. Pause, ffwd, skip all work at least as well from receivers as from the DVRs.

While there is a lag on trick play controls on MVR, due to the commands going through the network, it shouldn't be that noticeable
