When viewing the Live Feed, the fact that the topic and forum are not highlighted in any makes it a little difficult to quickly scan the feed and pick out topics and forums. Is there any way to have it bold or highlight the thread topics and forums to make picking up that information easier.

Maybe something like this:

Possibly....I'd have to look at it closer to know for sure how easy/hard it would be.  Plus, I'd want to talk to David to see if that's something he would want to do.  He's trying to keep the skin edits as minimal as possible to make it easier each time a new version of the software comes out.

Just a suggestion... Not a demand. :)

Just a quick question though, why is it that some items on the Live Feed seem to give a preview while others do not? Is there a setting to turn that off at all?

wonder if easier to edit language string for hook to say "posted in Topic" ...."in Forum".... (adding words topic and forum) to quickly show the difference and segregate w/o needing to deal with skin edits or bold/highlight.

have not tried it myself on this but in some places its easier.

Possible, depending on where it added the language. If it added it to the main language set, then David would have to make that change as we haven't done the whole copy of the English language pack to make it editable via the admin panel trick. I've tried that trick in the past and didn't like having to keep up with the copied language pack after mod upgrades/additions etc. There's also the possibility of language files being changed, etc. during a mod upgrade. I've had changed language files be overwritten during a mod upgrade before as well.

I'll talk to David whenever he has some free time and get his thoughts on whether or not he wants to implement either type of change.
