Tomorrow I will be adding a second Hopper to my one Hopper, one Joey system.
I'm wondering if there is anything special I should do or anything I should avoid doing.
I will be replacing the solo with a duo node and have already tested the second RG6 to be good.
I'm thinking of just swapping the existing Hopper at first on the solo node in place now to rule out any possible problems with a new duo node but wonder if this is really necessary or should I replace the solo with the duo node first to verify that it works first. I have the necessary 75ohm terminators that I will need.
Or should I just replace the solo node with the duo node, hook everything back up including the new Hopper and wait for the second Hopper to download all the necessary software/firmware?
Will the presence of the Joey cause any problems with the download of the software to the new Hopper?
Hoping to make this as clean an install as possible. Am I forgetting anything that I should do?
(I would be doing the install today but the train it was on derailed enroute.)
