Don't worry about dropped session count. There may be one or two "real" dropped sessions, but the majority, if not all, of those are due to turning your Samsung RVU client off.

Phy levels look like they're in range.

Why does whole-home takes long to playback recordings on my HR24?, originally recorded on HR22, both are Ethernet connected which does show the name assigned to the DVR and authorized, I don't have freeze-ups or dropouts other than playback delay

There is certainly a delay when sending commands through the network, I guess the longer delay might be on how our network is designed

Some of this may be the HR22 is just a bit slow being the server.

Checking MRV playback the other direction from the HR24 to the HR22 might be different.

My 2 HR22-100s are in the guest room and are slow to 'wake up' even when I go in there to check something.  After that, they're fine until no use.  The first mrv is a little slow starting but subsequent is fine.

That is definitely what I see when I playback recordings from the 24 to the 22 that it plays with less delay, the other way around its a hassle trying to see picture for at least 5-10 seconds.

I'm going to say it's the TVs RVU client that's the fault. I've seen the same thing with my Samsung RVU client while the C41 client I also have on the same TV doesn't do it. Sometimes when I see it do this a skip back will clear the problem.

See post My Setup for configuration info.
