After a little over a year with Dish (Hopper & 3 Joeys), I have found my way back for a Genie, 2 mini-Genies, and 2 H25s which were left over from my last tour with D*.  Happy to be back here  :righton:

Yeah the grass wasn't greener, but last year when I switched D* wouldn't deal with me on a Genie, and the Hopper seemed like a good deal.

D* kept sweetening the pot every time they called.  You might say they wore me down

Isn't it nice to be able to record 5 shows at once and not be handicapped? Welcome back home!

The ETF from E* is $190 but D* is giving me a $200 gift card to cover it.  Some guy from Dish called last night trying to convince me to send everything but the Hopper back and waiting a year to send it back. This scheme would magically cut the ETF in half   :nono2:

Almost left "D" to go back to "E" and glad I didn't pull the trigger. I don't know why I wanted to go anyway, must have been just a bad dream.

"E" is their own worst enemy, they schedule you for an install and then they do not show up. You call and then their excuses start to flow.

Lesson learned......not always greener on the other side.

My inlaws had dish, had problems and were told it would be two weeks for an install, a tech was going to have to come from Kentucky. They live in north central Ohio.

4 or 5 TVs with one Hopper? No wonder he wasn't happy. With 2 Hoppers he would have a more capable system than what he came back to.
