Shame about rules. We watched every episode, but its hard to get viewers when every time you turn around they are on a different night.

Think I am back to around 12 eps of Vegas on the HD, not a bad show but not one I have to watch every week it aired either.  That was the only CBS show I have watched in years.

One CSI down, how many to go?  6?  8?

Rules is cool, but it would be  a whole lot better without Spade.  Lots of reruns available.

It's been on at the same time on Thursdays for at least the past 2 seasons.

I'm gonna miss Golden Boy. The show grew on me, and I now look forward to it every week.

And this year it comes on on Mondays. It was on on Saturday for a season. Lucky it lasted as long as it did for all of the changes.

I wondered about CSI NY since it got less episodes this season.  I think I counted 17.

Same here.  I'm really going to miss that one.  Vegas wasn't bad either.

Ditto here.  We really, really like Golden Boy.  Wasn't sure when it started, but it really grew on us.  I was really holding out hope that by some miracle we'd get a second season, despite all the indications to the contrary.

Little bummed about CSI:NY too.

Neither of them is a surprise - I knew we were hoping against hope for a renewal - but still not happy about the news today. :(

Sorry, I meant Mondays.  (hard to keep track when you DVR everything and never watch it on the day it airs) It was on Mondays last year as well.  The only episodes on Saturdays were repeats.

I haven't watched the finale of Vegas yet.  Worth watching?  Or is it a big cliffhangar that will never be resolved?

I'm sure Directv can't wait to get their hands on your unit.

To be fair....

Law & Order - 20 Seasons, 456 Episodes

CSI (Vegas) - 13 seasons, 295 Episodes

CSI: Miami - 10 seasons, 232 Episodes

CSI: NY - 9 seasons, 197 Episodes

Criminal Minds - 8 Seasons, 186 Episodes

More than any individual Star Trek series.

I watched it since there was nothing else on or recorded last night.  Now I missed the last 12 eps but from what I saw no cliff hanger and they tied up a story line or two.  I was on the net and cooking dinner at the time so wasn't paying 100% attention to know if there was a cliffhanger I missed.

They left a few of the story lines in such a way that if they came back next year, they could reverse direction or take a different course.

Every show wants to be on CBS, but that is a double-edged sword, because you have to really perform to stay in that league. Golden Boy, Vegas, maybe even CSINY, might have had a shot on ABC or NBC, or even TNT or FX, assuming that is where they would have started, to stay around another year or two. None are successful enough to make a jump, however.

It's usually safe to talk honestly and openly with people because they typically are not really listening anyway.
