I am wondering if anyone has had any success in disabling the My CenturyLink app on an HR2x DVR?

I have had several frustratingly non-productive conversations with both CenturyLink and DirecTV trying to diable this asinine 'feature'.

I MUCH prefer DirecTV's caller ID and call history functions, but those are not available when the My CenturyLink app gets pushed to the box.

I have done a 'restore defaults' and restarted the box, and also disconnected the phone line and restarted the box.  When the restart completes and I press the MENU button, that option no longer is listed on the menu (beneath the 'Settings & Help' option).  Then after a while it is back.

One CenturyLink (I think that one was a CenturyLink person, though could have been a DirecTV person - there have been several of each!) help person said I need to ask to the have the code "ONTCX" removed from my account (also said 'Write an order to get rid of that app").  The problem is nobody at CenturyLink has any idea what I'm talking about.

Within the HELP option in the app is the question "Can I disable My CenturyLink on DIRECTV?"  The answer reads "Yes.  Call My CenturyLink on DirecTV technical support at 1-800-247-7285 to have the features disabled on your account."

The CenturyLink people at that phone number insist that it's a DirecTV issue and I need to contact them.  The DirecTV techical support people tell me that it's a CenturyLink provided feature and I need to go through them.

Has anyone had ANY success in getting this archaic, clunky, and, in my opinion, useless feature disabled from their DVRs?  I would be REALLY interested in finding out what worked for you!
