You can skip or slip through commercials. I prefer the 30 second skip.

Thanks to Google search, people can appear to be smarter than they really are.

In Smart Search enter 30Skip then search it. It will return no results but using this code allows the 30 second skip button on the remote to instead slip 30 seconds allowing a true 30 second skip feature. The advantage of this is that it eliminates the few second fast-forwarding of 30 seconds of content.

Are you aware that Fast Forward has 4 speeds ? Each press of the button will increase the speed.
I usually use FF2 or 3 and watch the time on the bar. Most commercial segments are 4 to 5 minutes.

Using "30SKIP" is faster than "30SLIP".  Also, 30SLIP is the default for the skip forward button and is not a true "skip" feature, you still see the commercials with 30SLIP.

I frequently use FF 3x for commercials, as I find 4x pops ahead erratically. 30SKIP is great between snaps in FB unless it's a hurry-up O, or a short series of commercials (rare, now).

"Laxguy" means a guy who loves lacrosse.

Ya, I use 30SKIP all the time.

I use slip. It is quite fast but I can predict landing better.
