This doesn't sound right. There should be no commitment required

There's no agreement with a dish upgrade.  Do you currently only have one dish or two?  Maybe I'm missing something from the posts.

Unless you are leaving out something, the agent whom told you that was just unsure and told you it had one to cover their disclosures. Better safe than sorry ya know (though they should have researched if it had one or not if they were unsure). But as stated no- their is only a contract if you upgrade recievers, move, or accept a discount offer that includes a contract.
