I have had lifeshield for over a year now and have no complaints. I went with them over ADT because of the cost of the equipment. Their monthly fee is also cheaper than ADT.

I think the thought was that DirecTV doesn't play hardball as much with providers, and come to a deal more often than Dish. Charlie is more stubborn.

If you don't mind , Could you state some prices of your services with Life Shield.

So far our cable company has $34.95 per month ,or $29.99 if you subscribe to their Basic+ or higher cable service.  But I also think they have and upfront charge for equipment?

. Charlie is more stubborn.

And cheap, regardless if it may benefit his customers.

Charlie can keep going after Dying cell phone companies instead. Sprint coverage sucks for anyone outside the big cities. I would rather Directv play around with a company that can grow and not one that's getting their ass kicked by ATT,Verizon and Track phone.

Apparently Tri-Cities TN is one of the areas where Century Link is testing this so far, as I got an e-mail the other day asking me to purchase it.  From the looks of it, however, the pricing is more expensive than my current security provider (FrontPoint Security).  I like Century Link, as I have them for my home phone and DSL, and bundle in DirecTV as well.  However, they are going to have to bring down initial equipment costs and their monthly service fees in order to make it work for me.

Sixto, I agree 100% re. FrontPoint.  I've had it for over a year now, and it's been great.  If I had a lot of money, I'd be buying stock in that company.
