Do you have any pictures of before/after in the areas you felt were unsightly?

It may not have seemed like a big deal to you folks but it was to us. I beginning to think that I wasted my time in posting about my long struggle to have things put right.  Let me guess, you are all associated with the business and not ordinary customers.

I am a customer the same as you and I think most on here are.

We try to help each other with a problem. What you posted was not a problem.

It is always good to read a positive result but does not necessarily warrant a response from anyone.

Now that you have added the photos that was the biggest mess I have ever seen. Wow. Glad you got it fixed.

Our contractor, Multiband, sends a supervisor out after an install to take pictures.  That seems to prevent what you experienced.  I had a similar experience for two or three years, must have been worse than yours.  They had to redo all the cabling, replace the dish, everything was piled in my yard.  Wish I had taken a picture.  For the first few years, I had at least 4 coax cables draped over my roof.

1953, if that is your real name, (just kidding :) ) I thank you for posting the positive experiences too.

And when one has a nice house, one generally wants to keep it that way. I'm glad you got a couple of rats nests cleaned up.

Thank you again for sharing,

Tom

Just to share the idea why we (me) was not in par with your excitement: it would be useful to support your vision by pictures: before and after of same places where the changes done. Just FYI ;)

I don't think anyone meant to hurt the OP's feelings, but after looking at the "Shame thread" sticky under the DIRECTV Installation/MDU Discussion forum area, it could have been much, much worse.  Very glad he got it fixed up though.

It is ridiculous it took that long for it to get fixed over a 13 yr period as each time you call in your account is notated. I myself would of stopped wasting time calling in if I saw it was going nowhere and contacted the office of the president which can be done at directv.com then going to the executive profile link found under our company at the bottom of the page. Nice the issue finally did get resolved though.

Yes, most of the people that post here work with the company one way or the other

Most of us are customers, though not necessarily the average customer.

I honestly can't believe why all that stuff would have been left, especially the dish and its cabling.

In my case, they removed everything.
