Moderators - in view of this thread - do you think it would be appropriate to add a forum for wireless / satellite internet ?

Thank you for your consideration.

And consider that Dish is expanding into the WISP area.  At least one test system has been announced among rumors of nationwide expansion.

An interesting thought ... although we are more of a content based forum (television content one gets via DBS, Cable or IPTV) than a delivery system based forum. We discuss the technology of receiving the content.

We have allowed non-DBS businesses aspects of DISH in the DISH forums for years (Sling, Blockbuster and now DishNet). Personally I don't see the critical mass to start a new forum ... but that decision is beyond my pay grade.
Welcome to DBS Talk - Let's talk about DBS! (The Digital Bit Stream)
DISH Network vs DirecTV: HD Channel List - DISH Network HD Capacity, HD Conversion and more.
DISH Network complete channel lists and lists by satellite location are in The Uplink Activity Center.
Unless otherwise noted, I speak for myself. Content is not controlled by DISH Network, DirecTV or any other company.
