Or is there just something wrong with my system? My picture is pretty bad. Lots of motion blurring.

Most likely the TV combined with the broadcast, which appears to be bit light on resolution- ie, picture is soft for HD, but I see no motion blurring.

What are you watching on, which receiver?

Was looking for specifics! I am watching on a 32 LED Sammy that's two months old, so it's not comparable to what you have, even if a Sammy. So, age, make and model, please; others may have similar and may comment.

It's a brand new HR44-500 receiver coupled with a 4-5 yr. old (about) Pioneer 50" Kuro Plasma (model FD 140), thru a Pioneer VSX-52 receiver all connected via HDMI. Not sure what else I can tell you. Please let me know if you have specific questions. Thanks.

I've just switched over to my 58" Sammy plasma, and still no motion blur. Again, a soft picture, but no motion blur or artifacts. I doubt I can shed any light at this point. Hopefully, someone with the same TV will  chime in.

Do you experience motion blur on any other events?

The picture isn't nearly as good on NBC as it is on NBC Sports Network, for whatever reason. I definitely notice a difference..

Unless you guys are in the same market, you really can't compare PQ to each other. Locals mess with bandwidth all the time.

I too felt that the picture was not up to par on WNBC. HR44-500 and Panny 65VT50. I had not noticed this with the previous 3 games.

Perhaps I Misremembered.

Looked like normal NBC PQ here. Local station automation was nice enough to cut away to a commercial while the Hawks scored the game winner, a-holes.

See post My Setup for configuration info.

I head some about this on the radio and some one said it's not like the NHL is big in TX. But NBC needs to get it's s* in line and it's should be all finale round games on network tv.

I want CLTV / CLTV HD on direct tv.
