I have an HR22-100 HD DVR. I can't get You Tube on it anymore. Anyone know what the problem is? I have rebooted but it still does not show up when doing a search.

it should be at the very bottom of the list on a smart search. If not press your dash button on your remote to verify an internet connection.

I have an Internet connection as Pandora works ok, On Demand works although its really slow when searching. If I do a smart search, the search thing just comes up on the right such as KEYWORD. It used to be You tube right under it. I have rebooted the router but it didn't help any and also have checked my cables and stuff on rear of receiver as well as 2 reboots this morning.

Thats not in my menus in the DVR. Is it? I haven't changed a thing in my router and all was working well last time I called up  a search, so maybe 2 weeks ago everything was ok but the DVR got new software on the 12th or something.

Go to Parental Settings. On the left of the menu page is a list of options. Web Videos is one of those options. If you do not see it reboot your receiver again.

I don't have Web Videos in the list  and have rebooted but still not there. But I have everything set on allow on the right. I don't have any children to fool with anything. Anymore ideas that I can try?

Give it a day and a half for everything to reload now that you have rebooted again. YouTube takes awhile to reload. You should also see Web Videos in Parental Settings.

There is still no sign of You Tube in a search or Web Video option in Parental settings.

Try this. Using your DirecTV remote press the menu button. Select Settings & Help. Select Settings. Select Network Setup. Select Test Connection.

That checks out ok. There is nothing wrong with my connection to the Internet. I also tried refreshing the receiver on the Directv web site but so far I still have not seen the problem solved. I will wait awhile longer and see if it shows up.

According to some DirecTV documentation, it can take up to 48hrs after initial connection to the internet for YouTube to come up.
