There have been reports of conflicts between units, but that seems to have been some time ago. DIRECTV has a policy of no more than one per account, and speculation is rife if it's due solely to limited inventory or to possible kinks in the networking of the two. Time will tell. I have had a couple Genies networked and one client without complaint.

Not with genies clients they don't. And there's a billing issue if you had clients as well. Trust me, i know first hand. There is a reason it's not yet allowed beyond just because.
And if They allow two on one account it has to be for any situation not just under certain situations. That'd be an installer nightmare.
I think there is another whole reason as well that wiill get fixed in the next six months or so as well.
That maybe but just wanted to let people know it is possible to have two on one account. It my be an error on directv part but I haven't had any issue. 10 tuners are fantastic:)
