I don't know if this software update happened just on my 522 or if it happened on other machines as well, but it is another bit of annoyance.
It used to be that I could go into Daily Schedule, select an event there and then if I want to see the timer associated with that event I just hit Timer and see the Timer with all of the associated events. This does not appear to be an option any more. I now need to go to the Timers menu and find the one I want directly. Since I have a whole bunch of timers, it is annoying to have to scroll down to find the timer I want.
I called technical support. They had me reboot my DVR and then when it was the same they sent me to a Event specialist who saw the same situation in her DVR simulation. She was unable to find out when the software was updated, though. She is going to note in some forum my displeasure about this change and try to find out more information.
Has this been discussed in another thread? Anyone have more information? is this restricted to just my DVR model or more of them?
