Looking to get Genie and looks like I can get them to give me a deal, however, she tells me on the phone (and they are often wrong) that one of my DVRs may not be compatible, interesting because I thought 2 were the same model and amother was a newer model.  Is this true?

All HD DVRs and receivers are compatible with the Genie, except the H20 in terms of accessing content on the Genie. Note that while the H20 is not compatible, the HR20 is.

The H20 and some other boxes can be on the same system as the Genie, but no access to the Genie. Older SD boxes need to be replaced as they are incompatible with the type of system the Genie uses, at least the way DirecTV supports it.

Just making sure, that this isn't an R22? It's a bit of a "special case", but doesn't sound like it should be your issue.

I have a 34, HR24 and HR22  and they play really nice with each other.

I can vouch for the HR20, HR22s and HR24 with genie, but I don't think the Tivo box does.

Correct. Tivos are not MRV compatible.
