I am in Milpitas, CA near San Jose. I am Comcast cable customer.

Please tell me how to sign up new Dish Network account?

I want to try this $29.99/mo for 12 month package. I need two set top box for 2 TV in 2 rooms.

What is the total initial installation and equipment cost?

What is the monthly cost for the first 12 month?

What is the length of contract? What is the cost for the rest of the contract? What is this $49.99 come in?

thank you

Use the official DISH.com website (link at the top of the page) or call 888-615-3725 (the number posted on that website).

Or use the "how to sign up for DirecTV" answers provided in response to your nearly identical post in the DirecTV forum.

Call Direct and Dish and ask. You are under no obligation to accept either offer!

Installation and equipment costs depend on the qualifications for a new account. Please PM me so I can provide you information.  Thanks.

Why don't you send a private message to Ray - Dish Internet Response Team (post 7). They are on this forum to help, take advantage of it.

call all possible Dish Network phone numbers, 888-656-2461  888-615-3725 888-656-2872 888-605-7732 - all busy 24 x 7

no other option, end up chat with Dish Network sales guy. He asked my info to check credit. OK.

I ask him I want to talk to installer - because I want dish to install on my chimney, but no walking on tile roof. I told him this is deal breaker without talking to installer. He keep say I can only talk to installer after I sign up and installer show up next day.

All he want is to have me sign contract immediately. on and on and on, only want me to sign up. Over an hour. Gee. End up nothing.

I told him he has my phone number. Installer must call me or let me call the installer. Nothing.

If you want to talk to an installer before agreeing to a contract you will need to find a local dealer that does installations (not a reseller who does sales only and uses the national installers).

You can waste an installer's time by having them show up and then refuse the installation. Or perhaps they will refuse the installation when they hear your terms of installation. They are a service company but there are limits.

A local installer may be able to do more than the national installers. The ones I have dealt with are much more creative. But there are limits.

Better than a chimney install would be a pole mount in your yard, if there is a place with line-of-sight to the satellites.

Strapping an antenna to a chimney risks the integrity of the chimney plus getting soot and smoke all over the lnbs might eventually degrade performance.

I know it's done but it is not a best practice.
