In FL there are a number for HOA's that have the DISH service and instead of each home having a separate dish, the community has three 8 foot dishes for each orbital location (110,119 and 129).  The three dishes feed each home and each user has their own recivers.  Is this something new or has it been around for a while?

Thanks

I'm sure this helps with rain fade and issues like that also.
