Hello All, I'm installing a SWM LNB and DECA net to take my DIrecTV traffic off of my home network (also reclaim some coax runs for future expansion).  My ineternet provider has upped me to 101 Mb and the parts are cheap enough.  Why not?

Question is, I know I had to email DirecTV to allow me to use the unsupported home networking option for MRV, do I need to do anything when moving in the opposite direction?  Will they need to undo something on their side for DECA to work?

Thanks in advance,

Nope, as long as Whole Home DVR is active on the account then you're good to switch to DECA from ethernet.

See post My Setup for configuration info.

Thanks for the assurance, parts are sitting at home, just waiting to be installed.  Didn't want software keeping me from executing.

Yup, as long WHDVR is on, the receivers do not know or care how they share
