It was pretty good.  And very intense.  A lot of anti-heroes.  So if you like that, it is worth it.  It was also one you really had to pay attention to, or you'd be lost.  I found myself having to rewind and rewatch if I had been on the internet during the show.

"But the freedom that they fought for, and the country grand they wrought for, is their monument today, and for aye." "This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

It tried being something different, but wasn't. I watched every episode the following day, but it didn't have the must see TV as other cop shows have or had. I'm not surprised it's canceled and wouldn't be surprised if Netflix picked it up.

Any consensus? I don't have the first two eps, and watching the third was difficult, and I don't see how to get the first two without Amazon etc. ... Is it worth it? I do have eps after the third.

I'd move on and free up space on the hard drive.  But, then again, I moved on after the first episode, so take that into consideration.  The last thing I needed week after week was the ambiance of the progressive paradise of Detroit, coupled with a police corruption plot line and unappealing characters.

"A proof is a proof. What kind of a proof? It's a proof. A proof is a proof. And when you have a good proof, it's because it's proven."

Another one bites the dust. I liked this one a lot. It did a good job of capturing the blight of Detroit. Made it all the more realistic IMHO. Sent from the jaws of my Hammerhead!
