is it possible to install a DTV C41 at a location different than the main DVR.  i have an old large oval slimline dish and the C41 at the second location.

Is this even possible?  if so is there any additional equipment i need besides the C41 and the dish?

You need a Genie.

If you stop responding to them or put them on ignore, then eventually they'll go away.

Sorry but this would be against the Terms of Service to have service at two locations at the same time, but as mentioned, the clients don't work without the server.
