It would be so cool if everyone would list their area, it would help in so many ways.

You could start by adding it to your profile like myself and others.

I noticed that I had mine listed and when the new software went online it was gone.

I went back to my profile and the location was indeed blank.

I think listing at least receiver models etc in the profile or signature would really help.

There been dozens of times when someone had a issue in their area and nothing on where was in the post or their profile.

So I quickly moved on to the next new post.

A handful of folk seem to pride themselves on being obtuse/stubborn/contrary by not putting location in. A few are paranoid, but no one's asking for a number, street, town or city. And probably most aren't aware of how to do it, or are ignorant of times when such info is critical to the meaning of the post.

Right, usually where we need location, it's really DMA, which may or may not be their actual city.

If your using mobile your location won't show, even your signature other than the device and app you use, if you choose to enabled it in the settings. I take that back you can see locations if you edit the default signature.
