I know I can ignore certain forums so they won't show up in the new content tab, but what if I want to ignore just certain threads? Is there a way to add just specific threads to an ignore list so they will never populate in the new content section for me? Or unread section in the iOS app?

I don't think you can block specific threads.

How about using the choices under "Other" ? Items I follow, Items I started and Items I participated in.

Wouldn't that do what you want to do ?

The threads he wants to avoid would still be visible in the New Content, which presumably inky would visit from time to time. But hitting Followed first would avoid it there.
