I'm considering upgrading from the HR 24s to the Genie.

Can you still do DLB and does it work the same?

I assume that watching side by side view allows buffering on both?

Does having the Genie DVR allow watching your live TV on an iPad or iPhone? Or is Slingbox still needed?

Here’s to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The the troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.

The ones who see things different.
They’re not fond of rules, and they have no respect for the status quo.
