I have an owned hr34 which i put a 2tb hard drive in (internal) around six months ago.  I just upgraded to an hr44 today.  I took the internal 2tb disk out of the hr34 and installed it in an external Thermaltake Max 5 esata enclosure.  I then hooked it up to the hr44 and rebooted.  All of my recorded shows and todo list are now showing up on the hr44!!!!!  All of the programs are available to all receivers on the network!

But unfortunately they are useless because you can't play them
